About the Artist

I'm Rachel. My mother gave me my first set of oil paints when I was 10 years old. Can you believe how brave she was to let me loose in the house with oil and turpentine!

I'm thinking she just wanted me out of her hair. My sisters are six and 11 years older than I, so they really didn't want to have much to do with me, either.

Thus began my lifelong relationship with art. It has always spoken back to me!
